Founded in 2004 in Augusta, Georgia, The Vein Guys™ was established with a commitment to delivering expert vein care using the latest advancements in vascular treatment technology. Board-Certified Vascular Surgeon Dr. Steven M. Roth recognized the life-changing impact of minimally invasive procedures, such as Venefit™, VenaSeal™, and laser therapy, and made it his mission to provide patients with lasting relief from vein disease.
Dr. Roth was a pioneer in modern vein care. At a time when many patients were put off by painful vein treatments that included “stripping,” Dr. Roth had a vision of bringing top-tier, minimally invasive modern vein care to more communities outside larger cities. His reputation quickly spread, and led to the expansion of The Vein Guys™ into multiple locations across the Southeast. The Vein Guys now operates two locations in Georgia, two in Tennessee, and our latest practice in Southwest Louisiana.
Dr. Roth felt strongly that hiring and training the best specialists and medical staff would lead to happier patients and more favorable outcomes. This belief remains at the core of our practice today. The Vein Guys has assembled a team of highly skilled, board-certified physicians, vein specialists, registered vascular technologists (RVTs), medical assistants, and top healthcare professionals across the organization.
