Dr. Thomas Wehmann is a triple board-certified surgeon with over 35 years of experience in invasive and noninvasive vein procedures. He brings deep expertise and a compassionate approach to patients in Greensboro, Georgia, where he specializes in vein disease, vascular surgery, and wound care.

Education & Training 

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Wehmann earned his bachelor’s degree in natural science from the University of Cincinnati before graduating near the top of his class from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his General Surgery residency at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He later completed a Vascular Surgery fellowship at Southwest General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

His academic excellence was recognized with the National Resident Achievement Award in New York City.

Dr. Wehmann has held numerous leadership roles throughout his career, including Chief of Surgery, President of the Medical Staff, and Director of the Wound Center in both Ohio and Georgia.

Life Outside of Medicine 

Dr. Wehmann lives on Lake Sinclair with his wife, Monica, and stepson, Evan. In his free time, he enjoys boating, cooking, classic cars, music, and attending high school football games.
